Winnie Wan
I am a full-time counsellor. For the past 12 years, I have met more than 150 clients, handling a large variety of cases including emotional illnesses, interpersonal relationship problems, relationship issues, marital crisis, and personal growth issues. During this period, I have obtained two master degrees in counselling where one particular focus is in Family Therapy. My aspiration is to contribute through helping families with different kinds of problems, hence most of my cases are family-related such as parenting issues, marital problems, family relationship crisis, etc. Occasionally, I will speak in various seminars, sharing my experience and knowledge in emotional health and family system.
To further polish my skills, I am currently pursuing further studies on family systemic dynamics. I believe that the lens of systemic therapy can open up wider angles and broader views for my clients to understand their issues.
Prior to turning to counselling, I worked in the legal field for 10 years in several international law firms. Not only has working with colleagues from different parts of the world broadened my exposure to different cultures, but it has also inspired me to reflect on how people from different cultures react to pressure and impact their relationships with family members and peers.

More About Me ...
I like meeting new people, and learning new things. Travelling is most tempting to me – to experience different cultures, try different food, enjoy laughter with different traveling buddies. To me life is full of fun and love, especially with pets, and when surrounded with friends. I have two dogs – a bichon frise and a toy poodle. I can spend a long time playing with them. I love dancing too though I am not good at it. I find it enjoyable even when being only an audience.
