Cherry Cheung

My approach to counseling centers on the principle of growth and change. I provide clients with a safe, respectful, empathic and non-judgmental environment where they will be understood, supported and meaningfully challenged. Over the years, I have supported clients across a broad range of issues in NGO and school settings. I specialize in providing effective therapeutic support to adolescents, adults and couples. 

With a compassionate and outcome-focused style, I help clients to develop a deeper understanding of their circumstances and make long-lasting positive changes even if they feel “stuck” in existing situations. The counselling techniques I adopt are evidence-based and tailored depending on individual therapeutic needs. These include: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Approach and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I am committed to helping my clients find options and move forward confidently in their lives.
